I've been super impressed with him on the evidence so far. I like the faints and shoulder drops he has that allow him to avoid the press and pick a pass. It gives him that half a second longer which makes a huge difference.

Aye his saves have been good, but I would expect a top tier keeper to have that has his fundamental #1 skill. Hence my comments on his footwork and movement.

He only highlights certain players mistakes as well

He's done very well Trafford.

Hope to see less of him, not sure relying on him to keep an obscenely high save percentage is sustainable

At least I see the mistakes, unlike some.

I like Tanaka in our midfield, he is still learning & getting used to the pace of the PL.

He was part of midfield that got outmuscled & overrun by Palace on our own patch.

We can't be surrendering the midfield & expect to win points, fortunately we got away with a draw yesterday.

I'm unsure what the answer is to stem a similar scenario in the future.

We are very open and easy to get at (hence Trafford being so busy).

Pleased with the position and point total but definitely doesn't tell the whole story of our season.

Tarik and Trafford have probably saved us nearly half our points with saves and last ditch tackles.

His positioning is very good which is a large part of why he makes the saves and I would expect him to have a high save percentage because he saves shots, and make them look routine, whereas other keepers have poor positioning and as such fail to get to some shots (or have to make spectacular saves due to their own poor positiong - hello Pickford).

A couple of things that really impressed me yesterday.

Firstly the save from the freekick - but not just the save but that he pushed it behind rather than just making the save and pushing it back into play which would have been straight to a couple of Palace players. A lot of keepers make the saves but put the ball back into a dangerous area (Paul Robinson was awful for doing this).

Secondly there was a shot from a Palace player which whistled just past the post. Trafford had it covered but was also fully sure of his angles. As such he covered the net but didn't attmept to save it 'just to make sure.' If he had tried to save it then it would have most likely meant a full stretch parry again to a couple of Palace players - and likely a tap in. A keeper who isn't spot on with his positioning, and trusting himself, makes an uneccesary save there and probably concedes a goal from it.

A few people have questioned him at times (mainly the Newcastle match) in regards to his footwork. But for me his footwork being good (usually) is just a bonus as for me his traditional keeping attributes are what makes him a cracking signing.

Still want to see less of him though and less last ditch blocks/tackles.
