Thought Phillips was one of our better players

Completely disagree. The playoffs are designed so the team with momentum go up. Remember when Brighton finished 3rd on goal difference and Wendies beat them as they were demoralised, while the Wendies were coming in with form. That's what would happen with us.

Very true. At the end of the day it's a lottery. Having momentum like Villa, Wednesday and Preston are having at the moment and you wouldn't fancy your chances perhaps. Equally we have seen in countless playoffs that class shines through in the end with the team finishing just outside the top 2 winning promotion. While Villa, Wednesday and Preston are pressing hard now so were Bristol City a few weeks ago now they can't buy a win. Boro too. Plenty of twists and turns to go.

Gave the ball away which lead to a period of pressure from them first half which seemed to boost their confidence. Missed a tackle down our left second half affording them a good chance, had a chance to halt the attack for the goal after Coop had lost out, half hearted non challenge, had a chance to clear and was simply shrugged off the ball which lead to Casilla getting red (And yes I know poor pass from Cooper but if Forshaw gets slagged off for losing possession after a nasty Hernandez pass which lead to a goal so should Philips. Twice allowed runners to approach the box at speed in the first while sitting watching. his job to step out there and close down.

I think Phillips is a very good player but not a very good defender, like Alio, he had a bad game imo and I had a good stream today with replays, as many as I wanted

SG in the last eight years the team finishing third has promoted 4 times. 50% success So imo half the time justice is done as the whole playoff idea is just a TV led moneyspinner.

During that time the team finishing sixth has not made the final. 100% justice. Imo

There is no reason for us to be demoralised by today's events.

Yes I know the errors you touched on with Phillips, just thought he did a fair bit of good stuff too & was surprised when I saw you had given him 3/10, didn't think he was that bad tbh

I also gave Coop a three, both were as culpable for me...I think Kalvin is still a year or so from transitioning from an attack minded player to a good DMF

As boring as the blades play it's very affective and they play to there strengths, they don't get many chances on goal and when they do they make it count. They are rock solid at the back and counter attack brilliantly.
I don't believe they deserved to win today at the very least a Draw would of been fair for them, we just don't know how to convert our chances and that is where our problem lies.

Season is not over with 24 points still available...... Norwich will definitely go up as they have a very nice run home.
I'm hopeful for auto's but I think we will be playing play offs football and beginning of the year I would of taken that.
