I thought the young French goalkeeper is an outstanding stand in for Kiko
So I think we are covered if Kiko gets a ban. He even got his hands to the ball
and it was a wicked awkward spin that wrong footed Ayling who could do nothing
to stop it going into the back of the net.

They raised the level of their game in the second half and we couldn't respond.

Xhaka deserved about six yellow cards.

Their keeper made a couple of excellent saves and Bamford unlucky to hit the woodwork, else it was a very different game. Very encouraging performance.

We put up a commendable battle and made folk see why the top flight wants Leeds. Real old school atmosphere, lots of good physicality but their quality told. Really enjoyed the game though.

Overall a good performance, proud of the lads but we should have been 2 or 3 up at half time. Meslier definitely good enough as cover for Kiko, in fact on tonights performance Kiko should be looking over his shoulder ! Costa is never worth 15m, only performs now and again.

First half we hammered them, 2nd half they got up the pitch and nullified our game and we have no answer to it even in the league. Arsenal's quality shone through in the 2nd half but given our first half display we were worthy of a draw. The ref was utter garbage btw.

Great 1st half, Arsenal stepped it up 2nd half but we gave a good account of ourselves.

Bamford -- more a number 10 than a number 9.
Ayling -- blows hot and cold. Some days he is so bad and some days he is decent / good (not great, but good). Lacks consistency.
Gotts -- not ready.
Harrison -- okay.
Alioski -- better winger than a wingback.
Keeper -- fine.
Klich -- meh.
Costa -- random.
Dallas / Douglas -- okay, but can do better (sure they will improve).
Berrardi -- Deserves another contract. Good back up.
White -- Decent today. But generally good.

Need someone like Pablo (or a Xavi) just to calm the midfield. Second half there were lot of gaps in the midfield and Phillips can't alone cover it.
