Funny old half I cant think of a Leeds player who hasnt made a mistake.

But here we are still in with a sniff.

Praying the Liverpool players tire in the second half because they're scaring the life out of me every time they attack

Not a terribly auspicious debut for our new German, but he will only get better. He was sort of thrown to the wolves here with Cooper out.

That being said, we have shown, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that we belong here.

Of course now that I've said that the second half will go to hell........... :)

He could have tried to head it back out of the box instead?

Wrong decision to do what he did imo.

Welcome to the Premier League

Never under any illusions that this level is very different to championship football

Credit to Leeds for playing a big part in this end to end game

A really fun half of football. And an emotional experience for me. The defense is obviously too loose. And the passing, of all things, has been suspect. But right now, I'm just so happy. Bring on the second half!

I think the rest of the league will be sitting up now and taking notice if they hadn’t already, irrespective of how the second half goes.

Koch, Struijk, Meslier doing a job, it will be great for all three. Our makeshift defence will only get better.

As is ours. We don't have the overall team speed they have, but we have the endurance. Neither team is going to tire.

But our defenders have not been left trailing, Dallas, Struijk, Kock and Klich have all robbed Liverpool players in good positions, Ayling too.

Plus Koch and Strujik are relative strangers.

So what's Liverpool's excuse for their defending?
