Haha, Bielsa having to remind the reporter that Bamford scored before the Rodrigo sub, not after... These utter chumps.
Interesting he regrets not taking Bamford off for Alioski as he was more tired.

Bielsa talking after the game saying he took Rodrigo off for tactical reasons. Left paddy on because he's better at defending than Rodrigo but was wrong decision as Paddy was very tired

Huge comedown from De Paul though. Probably overpriced too!

As soon as the guy had asked the question I said to Mr swan that the sub was after the goal. Bielsa reaction to the question was brilliantmothbanquet wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:13 pm Haha, Bielsa having to remind the reporter that Bamford scored before the Rodrigo sub, not after... £15m for Cantwell and £40m for De Paul though.
Of course I know who I would rather have.
Positives of Cantwell - he is young (22), cheaper and has PL experience
£16m Costa
£27m Rodrigo
£13m Koch
£18m Llorente
£15m Cantwell
= £89 million spent
If it was De Paul it would be closer to £115m - Kinnear said our budget was £100m as a maximum so maybe De Paul was always unrealistic

And when the reporter asked if Bielsa was enjoying the Premier League, he actually smiled (first so far that I have seen after a match this season) and replied “he does when other teams are playing”, he is so classy.

Still think we can get him cheaper closer to the deadline. Cantwell is probably to call their bluff.Fridge wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 1:27 pm £15m for Cantwell and £40m for De Paul though.

Don't rate Cantwell at all tbh, Buendia is much better. Norwich fans seem to say the same.

Happy happy happy.
Fairly even i thought, could have gone either way.
We played the better football largely imo although Blades had there moments.
Meslier made 2 awesome saves.
Koch did very well i thought.
Dallas was immense.
Ayling and Costa but iffy imo, the right side was weaker.
Poveda and Rodders made a difference, gave us more threat.
Really pleased for his Lordship.
Great to get a clean sheet.
6 points from 3 games gives us a bit of breathing space before we play imo the best side in the league.
