I like him, thought he played well against Everton but was shot down. Lively again today and played some lovely balls.

A poor day at the office but at least they never gave up and made the scoreline more respectable.
All four of their goals were avoidable though and unfortunately Meslier had a holocaust of a first half.
On to Wolves.

Fact is that we have an incredibly poor defensive record - the joint second worst in the PL, and three times more goals conceded than the team top of the league.

Going back to Keegan's Newcastle - in 1996/7 they conceded 2 goals less than our 42 over the course of the entire season.

We improved 2nd half but could still have conceded 3 or 4.
