I don't get the complaint it's offside? The lino called it, it looked off in real time and it's off on the var pic

That was frustrating to waste so many chances and to be undone by a freak own goal. Then for Wolves to get a ball turned over to them for it hitting Coady and put out to be a Leeds ball. Would love to hear the refs reasoning behind that call.

Looked offside in real time but that looks in line to me?
Bamford's knee and the defenders foot.

Did we have a midfield tonight ?
Oh hang on, we did for the last 25 minutes, I wonder why.....could it be that old man who can't run & is no use to us anymore, surely not!

No chance of goals in abundance coming from Roberts or Klich in our central midfield.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 10:25 pm Just watched the Tyler Roberts interview, sorry Faaip, he looks like in his head he’s floating along beautifully and the 3 points don’t really matter.
I just can’t see him ever offering a 15-20 per season return, he just doesn’t seem to care enough about not scoring, or winning.
I’ve always thought there was a player in there by the way, but he just doesn’t look gutted at all about losing.

Well, disappointing, really unlucky on the goal. Overall I think it was an even game. They had a couple of fantastic efforts but we had the best clear cut chances. It seems like we're an even team with Wolves and that's definitely a fair assessment of our 1st season back in the premier league. And we definitely had worse injury problems than they did (Koch, Llorente, Rodrigo, Phiilips).
Bamford's goal might have stood if the original ruling was onside. Shame.
Meslier had a very good game. Fantastic save in the 1st half and he didn't put a foot wrong the whole game.
Contrary to previous posts, I thought Shackleton had a decent game. And I thought Roberts was really lively. If Roberts played for any one of the bottom six clubs, he'd be starting every week. Throw in Strujik and I thought all 3 of our fringe players looked the part.
On to the next game, I think our squad is developing really well. We're only about 2 players away from being Champions League quality - with Bielsa in charge that is.

Players are taking the p*ss & making a mockery of footballPrisoner37 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 10:27 pm The rules of the game have been made to suit cheating bastards.
Then the better you cheat the more your worth goes up (including Ayling). Then the commentators support it with terms like "he earned the right to go down" and "good game management". The size of Traore and one hand against him and he goes down there's a snipper in the ground.
Funny they had two defenders injuried in the last few minutes and they get the ball back after being headed out FFS.
So gutted by that result tonight.
Will think about the positives when I calm down.

Who says Pablo is an old man who is of no use to us anymore?
I think the majority on here would like to see Pablo get more game time.

I think we'd be pushing Top 7 this season with Koch, Phillips, Llorente, Rodrgio fit more often

Always believed football could learn a lot from rugby however FA/FIFA go in a total different direction to the rugby authorities.becchio bear wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 10:35 pm Don't understand why football can't do the same as rugby..... Nettohead was booked eventually after he wasting a minute taking a corner.
The current rules of football give players the license to cheat.

Pedro Neto is a good player.
Looked dangerous when he received the ball, wasnt impressed with anyother Wolves players (even Traore) but Neto is class.

With our classy winger Raphinha creating the majority of our best chances!YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 11:28 pm We did create though, 18 chances, 7 on target. Arguably our issue was not creating them but putting them away.
