Because we're afraid of jettisoning the players who got us promoted, but we were more than happy to dump Pablo who played the biggest part.

Laughing stock again Arsenal will be grateful. Will beat Everton in front of the home faithful next week, you’ll see.

I'm starting to think it was all down to Llorente!Boo Radley wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 1:26 pm The thing is we actually did compete with them after Christmas last season. It looked like we had matured in how we dealt with the “big” teams. We stopped being so suicidal in our approach to these games. When we equalised we should have shut shop for a while at least and then pick them off as we did against City.
How many thumpings will we have to take before we get back to that level of cop on before we apply that mature logic again.
We have not improved this squad by anywhere near enough to go toe to toe with the likes of Man U yet.

Very worrying for the goal difference to take such a battering early on, very important now to get a result against Everton.

Can we also point out how badly wrong MB got this.
Far to gung ho witth the suicidal man to man system rather than the slightly more relaxed system.
Trying to dominant possession with no midfield and ploughing forward forgetting defensive responsibilities.
Kp not starting
Predictable subs
An utter s**t show from Bielsa.

Tbh, AR I won't forget this as we've now twice gifted a victory to our bitterest rivals, which is unacceptable to me.Allrounder wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 1:28 pm Good to get out the frustration. Come next week after the victory against Everton this will be forgotton.
Can only be repaired if we get two quality midfielders recruited in this window, and I don't mean the likes of Gallagher and O'Brien.
A bad result I can accept if the opponent earned it, but Scum were presented with a victory.
We will rue this summer if we fail to recruit well.

Radz and Orta need to get two quality midfielders in before the window shuts.
Bielsa also needs to apologize for this s**t show and give himself a fooking good shake.

All signs show we are skint, other than loans and u23’s and cheap buys I don’t think we have actually been interested in anyone this summer. We have a spare loan spot but wont use it unless we get a buy agreement in there. JKA fiasco has ruined us. There will be no incomings now don’t kid yourselves.

The club are deluded with regards to our squad.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 1:36 pm My thoughts exactly![]()

You cant recruit one season and then rest for a year, it isnt like that at the top level.
Bielsa needs to be less sentimental to, Roberts and Costa should be sold to fund players.
MB saying he is happy with his squad is a joke.

Totally. Show no ambition and our 2/3 major assets will be off and would you blame them.Cjay wrote:Their is also how this looks to our big players?
How will KP feel when he speaks to his new England teammates ?
How will Raph see it?
Players want to see ambition and they will be horrified

The thing to bear in mind Riot is that we’re in the Premiership and still swinging. We aren’t going to win every game, so we need to pick our battles.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 1:34 pm Tbh, AR I won't forget this as we've now twice gifted a victory to our bitterest rivals, which is unacceptable to me.

And we aren’t going to buy two £20m-plus midfielders in this window, irrespective.
Like last year, we just have to take it on the chin and move on - anything else is a waste of breath. Think of the blood pressure.
