The club is in trouble that there is no doubt.
Most of the regulars don't know how to reverse their freefall into the Championship, would you trust an inexperienced youth with the task of rescuing PL football for next year?
Would a new manager be the answer, new owners or some expensive players in January? A negative 10 in just 2 PL matches reflects a defence short of leadership and confidence.
I'm still not panicking yet because it's unlikely that Burnley will win their 3 games in hand, nor Watford their 2 games in hand, but if they did would Bielsa be sacrificed by the 3 stooges after slipping into 18th place following xmas? Are you looking forward to watching Leeds away to Brentford and needing a win, whilst Burnley entertain Newcastle attempting to win and avoid the drop at Leeds' expense?

If you don't know where you are going, every road will get you nowhere.

Based on 1 season?Anonymous wrote: ↑Sat Dec 18, 2021 8:05 pm The reasons why are easy enough to see... a horrendous run of injuries leading to the inability to pick a consistent team. This really isn't Bielsa, or the system's fault; both are proven to be competitive at this level with a fit squad.
We aren't in the position to have built up a Chelsea style roster of about four first teams worth of players, costing half a billion pounds. We punch well above our weight with the quality of players we have.
All that shows is it works for one season and numerous teams have had that and found themselves worked out next season
Anyone analysing the game today will point to issues in the system as would Bielsa (hence why he always blames himself).
Bielsa'@s entire philosophy relies on players being interchangeable in a well coached system, he doesn't believe individual players are the deciding factor so why should we use them as an excuse?

And there is the crux, we have all these problems, we don’t have the roster to play this brand of football, yet the man refuses to adapt to what he has in his hand, and the opposition managers know this.Anonymous wrote: ↑Sat Dec 18, 2021 8:05 pm The reasons why are easy enough to see... a horrendous run of injuries leading to the inability to pick a consistent team. Our issues was the frenetic style of play we started with. Need cool heads on the pitch. It was a case of let’s make up for City and trying to force it.
Missing Cooper big time and he gets rockets on here. First goal so early was a killer because if anything the team became more urgent and messy.
2nd half was better. Forshaw was decent for me - poor judgement not clearing the ball for the first goal but otherwise he was pretty solid. Baptism of fire for Dramer. Wasn’t really helped enough by Koch for me, who was forced back into the side through injury. Defensively we were poor - but it was a makeshift back line - even though some will point out the experience of the players.
As the team lined up we were all aware of the likely outcome. The boys still fought and the fans appreciated that.

The investigation into racial abuse is worrying.

-18 with just Liverpool to come. Our GD will be worse than Norwich soon. For all those applauding today and Tuesday, what if we go down on GD?

Always said beyond our first 11 or 12 players, we don't operate efficiently as a team.
I'm personally preparing myself for championship football next season, we haven't looked remotely like last season's team over 90 minutes of football in 2021/22.
Right now, sadly we'd struggle to acquire points vs the likes of Watford, Newcastle, Norwich & Burnley

I love listening to Graeme's views, he's always been extremely complementary about Leeds United. This season he has witnessed & highlighted our flaws.
Souness was visibly shocked how poor we are now.

The majority of our fans will still here when the likes of our board, manager & the players are long gone, they are the backbone of our club.

I for one was expected a spanking, plus the dodgy ref, which is all we get,
But I'll be brutally honest, I think Mb has to go....
We need a bigger squad
We need to invest, the 49'ers will be thinking WTF
MB has been a breathe of fresh air, but it's becoming stale IMHO
I hope MB can sort this, but I'm beginning to doubt it
Stop worryin' about what people say, when it ain't gonna stop them anyway.
