Not a bad half at all, undoubtedly lacking that bit of quality up top, we could be 2 or 3 up, got to think Gelhardt will be itching to get on. We haven’t given them a moment on the ball and have forced numerous errors from them.

We have to avoid our tendency to not rise to their level of energy at the start of the second half.

They're going to come out firing. We have to be ready to match their intensity.

Better going forward, creating chances ( and missing them) but given creativity has been a real issue this season thats good.

Could be doing better with our passing, at times its extremely careless and in this system it is a real concern.

Burnley have had 2 really good chances of their own however and if we follow our usual second half drop off then this match is still in the balance.

But better then recent times overall.

Relatively content.

Scrappy start to the match but improved in attack as the match wore on. Could have got a couple more goals but could also have conceded one late. So happy to go into the break in the lead. A psychological boost.

Apart from his shooting Roberts has done well, winning possession and stretching their back line.

Firpo the same, he’s going to be a good player for us in the long run and seems to be starting to connect with Jack.

If Gelhardt gets a run he’ll score though if the game remains the same in the second half.

I wouldn’t take Roberts off his finishing is pants but he is generally playing well. I would sub Klich for Gelhardt.

We are by far the better team, but we keep giving them hope with shots into row z and big holes in our defense, not happy with the no of times they tug our players when in the air, but no foul given, , Dyche has been in the 4th officials ear the time wanting fk's that are not!

I have been thinking about excitement andwhich is the more exciting, whether to be fighting for a top four position or fighting to avoid regulation... in my mind they are both about the same.

Burnley's defenders are bricking it and we've took advantage once which I hope doesn't come back to haunt us. Roberts will run all day long but that's where his footballing skills end , get him off and put Joe on and their defence will physically s**t themselves because the pitch today is made for him.
