Haven't seen the game (but got it recorded) and can't wait to watch it. Sounds like our centre back situation is going to become a strong point for us soon once we have everyone back fit. Struijk, Koch, Llorente, Cooper, Cresswell, and Hjelde. That's some strength in depth jostling for what is generally two positions (though several of these can play DM too or LB in the case of Struijk and Hjelde).

Hard not to think that with Struijk, we may have one of the best CB talents in Europe on our books.

Buzzing! Well deserved! We were the better side, and West Ham only got in the game after the injuries. I did say last week they were there for the taking! Couldn't watch last 15 mins too, just kept an eye on updated score on BBC website- slightly more bearable.
Struijk was class today ,always seems to have time and composure. Thought Hjelde did well, plenty good enough to stand in for Firpo.
Not got a problem with Bate going off .Experience can count in those situations.

Thought Bate did well today, got involved and tried to make things happen. Hopefully he will get more game time.

He got a special mention from Robbie Keane for his contribution, hopefully the knowledge that old campaigners thought he did well will ease the pain.

I don’t think we can make too much of the supposed rift between Marcelo and the younger players post Drameh, it’s all speculation and potentially detrimental to the harmony in the club if it gains traction in the wider fan base.

One thing real stood out today - Harrison really is a confidence player.
I know most players are but it really does apply to him.
Hope his season goes from strength to strength. He’s always put a shift in but if he can add to that too, then great.
