Now we've built a bit of leeway, hopefully young players should be getting more game time towards the end of the season.
Really impressed with Hjelde, a mature head on such young shoulders.

Raph back to his best today after a quiet few weeks. It's good that we're scoring goals without being reliant on him too.

With all the CB now coming to the fore hopefully one day the players may attack a corner ball in the box. :) I counted 3 players unmarked on one corner and they still missed.

Fine margins footy isn't it. That goes in at the end and we berate the defending.

Brilliant today back to near our best with a serious depleted squad. Take our chances like Harrison did today and we are a match for any of the other 12 sides in the PL.

Well played and you deserved it. If that chance at the death had gone in it would have been very tough on you.

Played a part in all four goals if you count the one the hammers got away with.

Thank you huishhammer.

A great game of footy.

Did you agree with David Moyes interview? Even though we had so many first team players out injured and two more injured today....

Brilliant effort

From an attacking sense, we'd be lost without Raphinha, he inspired the rest of the team.

Bowen's movement created a free header for their first goal whilst our defenders were ball-watching.

The pass out of defence caused havoc for their second goal.

We went to sleep totally for their final move, strange as we are used to playing quick free-kicks ourselves.

As for their corners with the height of Struijk, Koch, Hjede, Ayling at the back we shouldn't be offering free headers.

The majority of the goals we concede are down to silly self-inflicted errors, Bielsa knows it, as he's openly said in the past that it frustrates him, no wonder he's going frantic at times on the touchline.

Even so, we were a joy to watch going forward, back to the Leeds of old :-D :-D

He’s got a sort of a headmaster thing going on, maybe it’s the generation gap to Micah Richards etc. :)

Wow. Just watched the game. What a great performance and win.
Early on we looked really good and then we had the two injuries and that allowed West Ham back into the game. After a while though we got back into the game and I thought the two young subs did really well.
We need a goal scorer playing at the striker position. How ever hard James worked he is definitely not a goal scorer.
Excellent game for Harrison congratulations on his hat-trick!
Don't know what to say about the VAR goal. Yes, Rodrigo was in an off side position. Did he try to play the ball? No it hit him in the back. Would it have gone in if it didn't touch Rodrigo? Yes it would. Still it didn't matter in the end.
Pascal was immense at the back. We have missed that kind of defensive performance for most of this season. He really should start when he is available.
This is the best I've felt for a long time after a Leeds game (then I remember that Bowen missed a sitter right at the end which should have taken 2 points from us). Small margins between happy and annoyed!

Spot on ‘64!

I was pessimist going into this game but what an effort by the team today. It was a joy to watch and you just couldn’t but be proud of that performance. Nothing fazed us today - losing two players so early, losing our lead in such a familiar and potentially demoralising fashion, really depending on teenagers to step up in such a key game and suffering yet more injustice at the hands of VAR.

We just pressed on relentlessly. Yes, there were mistakes, but overall the attitude and passion was brilliant. Anything less than three points would have been a travesty. Well done to all involved

I have to say at the time both Forshaw & Firpo were injured I was concerned for our season especially if they have long term injuries.

Forshaw has been immense & Firpo has significantly improved of late.

You couldn't write it, Boo :(

Forshaw had started very well today and got an assist for the first goal. Gutted for him if he's out for a while now .
