I had a fine blend of 2021 Jim Beam complemented with a flat 2021 non diet coka cola....sheer bliss .1964white wrote: I must order another bottle of Cardhu, Laphroaig is also a nice malt

Wish you'd speak your mind , fooking hate this sitting on the fence s**t !White Riot wrote:I can't remember who Jimenez clattered in the first half with a bad challenge, for which he got a yellow?
But as he kicked our player he did a fookin triple salko to make it look like he was caught himself.
Fookin despicable cnut, should've had about ten yellows, never mind too.
Weak ref.
Remember when Struijk got that yellow against Villa last season? Grealish literally dived into his leg, FFS.
These refs, Var, etc, need to sort it out as it's ruining football and they're fookin standing there just fookin watching these cnuts spoil matches.
As I recall, Wolves did exactly the shame s**t at ER.
Good we beat the cheating twats

Totally agree, the game has become a contest to get opponents booked & sent off and ruined it completely. w**kers like Jiminez & the sulky fooker Richarlieson would never play again and many others !Madron wrote: Exactly.
I gave up on watching football for a few years due to all the diving spoiling the game. Its a disgrace.
I've been saying for years they need to start issuing retrospective yellow cards/fines for any obvious diving -that would soon make them think.
Like last week , when the Norwich player stood on Aylings leg and tried to manufacture a pen by making a blatantly obvious dive. The penalty was awarded but reversed by VAR. The diver should have been booked, there and then. There should be someone looking at matches after the game and applying yellow cards if they aren't picked up during it.

Yeah, need to be less diplomatic mate
Funnily enough the FA can apply retrospective punishment if it suits them, from Wikipedia:
On 30 April 2019, the Football Association handed Bamford a two-match ban after charging him with "successful deception of a match official" during the home game against Aston Villa in which Bamford feigned injury in a fracas involving Anwar El Ghazi.[92] El Ghazi's red card was later rescinded by the FA and Bamford received a two-match ban for deception.[93] Replays showed that Bamford had dived to the ground clutching his face despite no contact being made.[94] [95]
Jimenez, Grealish, Wolves, Burnley players, etc, should be getting these type of punishments after every appearance

We'll survive on sheer grit & determination but that's it. A major overhaul is needed otherwise we'll be staring at relegation next season for sure.Tyzy wrote:I know a win is a win and very important at this stage BUT we haven't won a single game convincingly all season and last night for the most part was one of the worst performances I've seen if we had been playing a more prolific team they would have been 5-0 up at half time and out of sight.
What can you say about injuries ,never seen anything like it ! Luck,I think we had our fair share last night, still not convinced we'll survive for most of the game we were more like a div 1 side .

The home made stuff is the best here, same with the home made wine. You can keep all the mass manufactured stuff for me, it's a pale imitation.
I put Rakiya on the same level as the best single malts

You ok Kenny? Just I’ve never seen a supporter so pissed that their team got a bit of luck.Kennyb41 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 8:48 am Take off your glasses boy.
They lost their best controlling player in Neves and we were still getting pummelled.
So, we lose the ever so impressive Llorente to injury....Lucky.
Then Cresswell comes on for Klich (we'll come back to that) ...... Lucky.
Second half, we start looking the same gash as the first, until! wait for it....Cresswell goes flying across to cover the left back position which is wide open, and lunges in gung ho fashion, he misses by a country mile (thank fck) on Jimenez who skips past him ....Lucky
Meslier races from his line getting to the ball a split second before Jimenez...Lucky
The ref who's completely on our side (lucky) then reaches for his pocket (v lucky) and changes the game completely.
Now this is where the real luck starts, and i could go on at length, but in a nutshell, watch ALL 3 goals back and if you can't see how fortunate we were with all 3 you're blind as.
Especially that third, i'll leave you to work it out, but here's a clue, it starts with the cross that was soooooooooooooooo over hit, it was lucky it stayed in, or should i say was kept in by a lucky looping up header by Bill, that even when it came down from the stars fell ever so kindly.
You should be able to spot the ever so kindly falling balls in the first 2 as well, but only ........if you take off ur rose tinted, ...( and watch out how that Wolves defender completely balls up his attempted clearance when the balls dropping down for Rodrigos and all the rest of the luck prior to the goal)
Must dash.

How about we all agree that our current position on the table is because we don’t have many star players. Marsch is not Don Revie, has had only four games in charge and has a 50% win ratio.
So, we had some luck. Newcastle failed to win last game with a man advantage. City failed to beat us last season with a man advantage.
Unlike some on this thread, the players didn’t throw their toys out of the pram when 2-0 down. They drove home the advantage and went some way to securing their future in the PL for next season.
If you get absolutely no joy from that result, you are a ‘special’ kind of supporter.

I reckon if Kenny won the lottery , he would complain about having to pick the cheque up

Anyone notice last night
Nohan Kenneh getting a yellow card & he hasn't played in the first team yet
Also Kalvin giving instructions to Bill during a break in the game.

Not at all 'pissed' we got the luck, just merely pointing it out that's all.Aussieleeds wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 11:06 am You ok Kenny? Just I’ve never seen a supporter so pissed that their team got a bit of luck.

The joy i received was x10 as the stat heads will know.
I must dash as i'm off for a pint, but another slice of luck i didn't point out, was the numb numpty manager of Wolves, who when they went down to 10 men and still 2-0 up....carried on going for a third

If survival is predicated on guts, determination, heart and never giving up, then we'll stay up easy. If it's based on the coach and his system, then I'm not so sure. That's not a dig at Marsch, he's only been here 5 minutes, but I'm not a fan of his narrow formation. Leaves us exposed defensively and blunts us a little going forward. We started ok last night, then were abject until Jiminez was (rightly) sent off. dragged ourselves back into and nicked it at the death. Unconvincing, got a bit of luck, but you'll take it at this stage of the season. KP back after the international break will hopefully gives us some security sat in front of the back 4.
Huge changes need to be made in the summer, whatever league we end up in, this squad has had its day and needs a serious freshening up.

I don't know what game you were watching, but we could easily have been one or two up before they scored.Tyzy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 9:44 am I know a win is a win and very important at this stage BUT we haven't won a single game convincingly all season and last night for the most part was one of the worst performances I've seen if we had been playing a more prolific team they would have been 5-0 up at half time and out of sight.

Shaky at the back still, but to say they battered us is absurd. We had 52% possession, fifteen shots to their fourteen and five corners to their two. We gave as good as we got.
