Watford 0-3 Leeds Utd Match Thread - POST MATCH DEBATE!

[Baldbloke]

Got to laugh at times, 10 points from a possible 12 and it's all thanks to a manager being lucky and leeds playing sh*t teams. Never mind the fact that every team in the PL fights for wins no matter where they are in the league.
It's almost as if some people would like to see leeds relegated rather than admit that maybe, just maybe the change in manager is the reason games are being won and points accumulated

I'd take any manager in charge as long as they kept us the PL and consolidated for next season

[BGwhite]

That result should've put any threat from Watford to bed, just Burnley to be concerned with now but if they lose tomorrow I can't see them catching us. 2 weeks off now , much work for JM to do .

A failed ex-manager I think he is from memory.

Hardly failed was he, managed something no one else did in 16 years

This is why the Bielsa fanaticism annoys me quite often - I just don't get it. I'm sure some on here are willing Marsch to fail and for the club to be relegated as a punishment for sacking Bielsa.

He was an effective manager for getting promotion from the second tier. Out of his depth in the PL.

And securing our positing in the Premier League in the first season. The wheels came off but lets not now say he was a 'failed' manager.

Only 4 points behind "High flying" Palace. I think we can get something out of that.

Play like we did today and Palace will hammer us. Watford missed a couple of great chances today which I'd fully expect Palace to knock in .

An emphatic win away from home, under intense pressure. Well done to the team and manager.
Now lets see if we can reel in some of the teams above us.

Yes, results are good, and that’s all that matters for the moment.

Absolutely, no need to be playing expansive football when our key goal is survival for this season. Another 3 points in the bag and another step closer to safety.

Get the feeling some would rather get relegated being so open and expansive than stay up.

Most likely a half glass full chap like me Leon.
How anyone can see the negative right now is beyond me.
Now hopefully my GN horse wins

I think it was down to nerves with it being a big game. Now the pressure's off, we can start to relax.

It's that we're resulting to? He didn't make an offensive or personal remark, so no need to overreact in such a way.
