Got to laugh at times, 10 points from a possible 12 and it's all thanks to a manager being lucky and leeds playing sh*t teams. Never mind the fact that every team in the PL fights for wins no matter where they are in the league.
It's almost as if some people would like to see leeds relegated rather than admit that maybe, just maybe the change in manager is the reason games are being won and points accumulated
I'd take any manager in charge as long as they kept us the PL and consolidated for next season
I've said I'm happy with the results and previously said I'm encouraged by Marsch so far. I don't know if Marschball is going to take us forward but he says the right things and picking up points on the pitch is what we need at the moment.
But we have to acknowledge that we have played poor teams and there are tougher tests ahead. Play like we have been and this team are capable of getting the results we need to stay up, especially with Cooper and Phillips back, but don't discount the odd kicking on the way.

This is why the Bielsa fanaticism annoys me quite often - I just don't get it. I'm sure some on here are willing Marsch to fail and for the club to be relegated as a punishment for sacking Bielsa.
Quite agree. What's happened has happened. Time to move on.

Play like we did today and Palace will hammer us. Watford missed a couple of great chances today which I'd fully expect Palace to knock in .

Different game, different oponents.
Watford just lump it long which means Leeds couldn't really get the press going. I also feel like Marsch adapts more than Bielsa, sets up speciffically to counter certain aspects of the other teams tactics and style.

Woodgate in the radio commentary was saying how much better the team look defensively now that the man to man marking has been discarded. He clearly thinks that the new manager has made a big leap forwards for the better.

Teams had worked us out in terms of marking, just wasn't working for us anymore. Especially leaving the free man at the back who would just waltz forward with the ball and carve us open. I feel much less nervous at corners too!
The space Marsch allows out wide makes me nervous, which is why I'm concerned when we meet better teams. But we'll see how he adapts the system to deal wit teams who play with more width and switch the play. So far it's worked.
I was right. Well played guys. Might not play each other again for a long time. We are down, and we won't be coming back up for a good few years. It was a pleasure seeing your lot play. Reminded me of Watford under Graham Taylor. You had a plan, stuck to it and scored some good goals. Do us Watford fans' a favour though - try to beat Luton twice if they come up?
Have a great rest of the season. We sure as hell won't.
Marsch has got us the points we needed to stay up, fair play to him.
That doesn’t mean Bielsa couldn’t have too, and we’ll never know.
The football today was s**** until Rodrigo scored and the changes helped a bit.
Before Leon jumps in and claims historical preference, let me be the first to say that if that’s what Marsch-ball looks like next season, we’re screwed.

Thanks. I thought your lot battled hard for most of the match. Even after our second goal.
Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.

Sorry but under Bielsa I think we would have been relegated.. he would still be playing square pegs intonround holes and insisting on his way and we would have been battered today. We needed bielsa out sooner than he did. But Jesse has got us out of this mess thanknyou jesse

That's very nice of you. I'm sure you'll come back up tbh, the Championship looks very weak these days. Good luck

Aren't we still playing the same pegs in the same holes? James up front and Koch at DM?
Getting boring hearing about Bielsa after every game now. He isn't coming back, get over it. If he hadn't been so stubborn in the first place, he'd still be in a job. He brought about his own downfall.

Get the feeling some would rather get relegated being so open and expansive than stay up.
Nah, some just say it as they see it and precisely how it was.
Thank fck it was Watford, and at their place.
Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game ...That Ayling goal and "You couldn't script it " - Dirty Leeds B@stard.
Must dash.

Hopefully he's just doing what's necessary to keep us up but otherwise I won't be too optimistic for next season.
