Every team has a chance, it's taking it that counts, we know we can create, but we also know we can't convert, thats been our main problem all season, not scoring, although, had any of our managers actually played a CF who knows what might have happened, last few months have been critical, and neither manager will take a punt on JG, baffling to say the least, thought JM might have picked his own players, maybe he dosen't rate him !!

For me the task is clear.

We need to beat one of Arsenal and Chelsea.

We need a surprise result like Everton had.

If we play like we did vs Man City we have a chance imo.

Anyone other gamblers backed the doomsday treble of Burnley, Everton and Arsenal to win?

Very tempted after last week. Just over 11/1. Maybe Orta should have a Mill on it. Pay for a championship striker next year

Meslier

Ayling - Llorente - Cresswell - Hjelde

Phillips

Raphinha - Klich - Gelhardt - Harrison

Rodrigo

This is team I would go with too Faaip other than Cooper for Llorente if he is fit. Hjelde looks the best player to slot in at left back and James on the bench to inject some pace later in the game. I think it would be suicidal if Firpo is picked in any of the last four games, I remember when we last played Brighton Lampty turned him every which way, and that is probably a must win game for us.

Arsenal hungry for top 4 is the killer. With Burnely going down at home it should give the players added incentive to try and get something. Under Bielsa we knew he would try and win the game at any cost. Will Marsch try not to lose the game at any cost? Its not like we can suddenly start being useful at set-pieces.

We live in hope.

Just been thinking......

If scum lose today it takes some pressure off the Arse.....
If Spurs lose tonight it takes some pressure of the Arse....
Arse have to go to Spurs on Thursday.
Maybe, just maybe....Arteta might rest a few players tomorrow?

Or maybe, I'm just clutching at straws

If we go gung-ho Bielsa style like we did against citeh I can see us getting another pasting 3-0? If we defend well and aim to hit the on the break I can see us keeping it to 1-0.

Neither is any use as if it comes down to GD we’re gone. We could put some pressure on Burnley with a point but I wouldn’t advocate playing for that.

If you play for a draw and fail to hit it....... you loose

If you play for a win and fail to hit it................,you may also loose, but you may also draw....

Arsenal's consistency has been their achilles all season. We can nick something today I am certain, we just need to play like a team that is playing for its survival. Delighted Villa belted Burnley.
