I agree its too early to judge him coming in so late in the season. Its the lack of identity that concerns me. He will need all the luck he can get next season if we do go down. I can't see any of the "big" international signings & firpo sticking around but that may not be a bad thing. We have a useful spine of youngsters coming thru but whether they can cope with the physicality of the Championship should we go down will be interesting.

IF we do go down, from what I've seen of Cresswell , Joffy and Bate ,I don't think physicality will be a huge problem.
In Charlies case the question could be more like Will the opponents be able to cope with him.?

We should have been effectively planning for this season, not for next. Truth is, our squad is weaker.

At the end of the day how many really thought we could get anything today.What you don,t expect for a stupid backpass to a keeper who then buggered it up i was always told if the ball is away from your goal you cant concede.The 2nd once again no marking.As for the sending off well i am afraid the language i would use to describe it would be unprintable.

Arsenal had 21 shots that day to 19 today and 12 on target to 9 today.

We needed a penalty to score that day or it would have been 4-0.

We were more vulnerable under Bielsa with 11 men than today with 10

Would have been another 4-1 or worse
