I suggested for the Arsenal game.. that DJ might make a good wingback.. but i was more concerned with having Firpo on the pitch and was looking at options.
When LAy went off..JM used Raph there for awhile but then DJ had a go and did pretty good imo.
So hopefully..JM goes with him again and leave Joffy up front to do his stuff.

Reading between lines of JM's press conference, Cooper still isn't completely pain free in his knee but apparently he's available for the game!
In that case it would be a real and unnecessary risk to start him against Chelsea. He could literally only last a few minutes and we end up wasting a substitution.

I have gotten the impression that the team haven't or can't get what JM is trying to do.
For me the best we have played under him was Leicester ( other than the result ) and since then we haven't played as well.
The team under MB and JM has been pretty poor all season and if the current manager can somehow get the team playing well tonight, it will at least indicate we could stay up.
Defining because we haven't improved football wise. also defining because Everton have set the benchmark against Chelsea. Defining because if we play poorly it's game over.

I like the look of a couple of bet builders here and the first one looks a nice price.
All of Leeds United’s home league matches against sides currently in the top six have witnessed at least two goals and given six of the hosts' last eight matches have seen three or more goals scored, we should see at least a couple here.
Of Chelsea's four away trips to teams that sit in the bottom five, all four of their opponents have seen at least three corners and with neither of these two sides in great form, I can see both teams creating chances and as a result, I’m expecting corners aplenty.
The hosts are the most booked side in the division and by some distance. Luke Ayling personified the lack of discipline that Leeds United have shown with his reckless challenge on Gabriel Martinelli at the weekend that saw him sent off.

The hosts are in the relegation zone on goal difference and it’s easy to see why considering how poor they’ve been lately. It’s not the situation Jesse Marsch would like and the fixtures don’t get any easier for them.
They’ve lost their last three home Premier League matches and have conceded at least three goals in all of those. They’ve also conceded at least three times in all five of their home matches against sides that currently reside in the top six. Meanwhile, the visitors Chelsea haven’t exactly been pulling up any trees of late, but they should have more than enough to score a couple against a Leeds United defence that will be without leader Luke Ayling through suspension.
The ‘Whites’ have been awarded at least two cards in all of their five home games against the top six and given Chelsea have a cup final to look forward to, the visitors will want to put on a show here and I would be extremely surprised if referee Anthony Taylor didn’t take a couple of Leeds players names’ into his book.

The only top 6 side we’ve been properly competitive against is Chelsea. Maybe against Spurs in the away game. But Chelsea away is the only crumb of comfort I hold on to. But we had MB at the helm then so who knows now.

We were very competitive second time around v Manure .. There's also a chance West Ham finish top 6 and we beat them. Liverpool and City we got routed all 4 times, nothing to be concerned with there they can do that to anyone.. The two Arse games the most disappointing tbf

Yeah, fair enough. But I watched that Chelsea game back and we were good. Our Gelhardt goal is just a classic team goal. The perfect assist from TR! Chelsea were in form, it was a proper game that turned on a soft decision on Rudiger I think. All the above with MB in charge also. I won’t be expecting anything like that tonight. Absolutely pissing down in Suffolk, wonder what it’s like in Yorkshire
