Wouldn't koch be more likely RB with Coops in middle ?

....and James up front with Rodders off him.

I wouldn't have thought so, maybe there's a clause in his contract. Would explain a lot

No idea it's just Coops name in the spot where the right back normally gets announced... If William is right about the wing backs then it's a 8 man defence including the keeper 5-2-2-1

I wont be able to share they forum pain this evening so have a great night everyone and I will be back for the bloodletting either later or tomorrow.

The omens aren't great, the last time I missed a midweek was when we were at Anfield....

MON LEEDS!
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Yikes, Chelsea are a lot stronger than I expected (hoped).
Honestly didn't think Mount or Rudiger would start.
Our line up is weird.....4 CB's!
Pleased he dropped Firpo though and starting Bate.

A clause? What do you mean?

With this line up we ain't winning this game or drawing. They'll pick us off.. dont think Marsh has been bold enough in squad selection. But what do I know. Hooe I'm wrong need no less than 1 point tonight

Had to be a strong side as they have to guarantee CL before anything else. Just our luck they've farted about these last few weeks.

If we start as slowly as every other JM game we're probably playing from behind in short order. Chelsea should get a lot of luck down the wings. Bate and Kalvin protecting a back 5? Seems OTT

Over/Under for the first minute we get into Chelsea's half discounting the hoofball?

Very strange line up, particularly worrying that back five faced with any pace. I just hope Struijk turns up and remembers how to play. We need to be at them from the start and just don't let them settle at all.

Really?

What would have been bolder?

I ask in all seriousness.

A more attacking lineup, perhaps? But who's available (apart from Gelhardt)?

Can't watch the game, alas. Let's take these Chelsea scum down.

For those that believe in "bogey" teams, citing Brentford and Brighton as ours.
Haven't seen this quoted on here;

"Chelsea have won just five of their 46 league away matches at Leeds. That win rate of 11% is the lowest in their history against teams who they have played in at least 15 away league games." (BBC )
