Well, obviously Rodrigo is a striker. Of course we all knew that when Bielsa and Marsch both prefered Dan James up front. James has a part to play as a winger. But Rodrigo is much better than him at the No.9

Time to make a serious effort signing players we require over the next two weeks or so, none of this p*ssing in the wind stuff.

I can't cope with another season of watching Dan James playing up top & a stand-in LB getting skinned down the left.

Kinnear and Orta are working on it, but only if we can find better than we already have. It may be a struggle finding players better than Firpo, Bamford and James.

I'm at the point of not believing a fkn word that comes out of this club. Joffy has a dead leg now...cooper picks up something else just the day before he's due to return. They won't spend a penny above what has been brought in from sales. 2 positions that needed new blood have still not been filled having bought 6-7 new players. It's just beyond belief what goes on here but another long struggle is on the cards unless they act very quickly!

Southampton brought on a bunch of fresh attacking players and, despite having run hard for seventy minutes in 30+ degree heat, Jesse responded by.......doing nothing.

Superb preparation, outstanding game plan, all ruined. Feels almost like a loss coming away from this one. Definitely two points dropped.

Still no sign of new players, meanwhile forest look like they will be spending £120 million +. We should have plenty of money to spend, where is the tv money been siphoned off to? The owners seem to have learned nothing.

Out of the new signings my main disappointment so far is Roca, he is steady enough and maybe just finding his feet but he is supposed to replace Philips distribution and I’ve seen none of that yet , there were glimmers in the friendlies but needs to do it where it matters

Hard to believe there's a plan this year for Drameh since Ayling will be a 2nd right back. I think he's just filling the bench until Ayling comes back, then he'll probably leave on loan

I won’t be too harsh. On Marsch. It was a borderline canter for 65-70 minutes. Then Ralph, in his death throes, found something in the deep recesses of his mind. Do this Ralph, do it Raiph, do it now and you will be spared. Don’t go to the light, go to the subs bench.
