Fact we can defend like that and be so solid yet so threatening in attack is a credit to Marsch tactically and the players
Excellent Jesse
Yeeehaaaa
Yeah, fully agree.
Jesse is producing balanced performances.
I'm really happy for him
He showed a hell of a lot of guts to come in here in the circumstances and you can see the team reflects his drive and determination.
So happy - especially as I've been one of the few people on here to be positive towards Marsch...I wonder if some people still think he is out of his depth ?
For me a win against Chelsea is worth more than one against that team on the other side of the Pennines....
The back four plus Adams and Roca provided an amazing platform to allow Jack, Aaronson and Rodrigo to do their thing.
Struijk was superb, and Rodders is on fire - no new LB or striker now, which is a shame as the type of players who would have knocked us back last week are probably sitting up and taking notice now. Are you listening de Kettle?
Didn't participate in the in-game chat because it's a little early for me in California (6 a.m. KO). Focusing on the game was enough for my eyes - and my brain.
Heading out for the day. More thoughts later. But briefly:
Best win since the we got relegated? The late Dallas winner against Citeh? The Beckford goal against Scum? This one was it for me today.
Marsch proving himself? 110%
If Cjay's comments today say anything about needing a striker and a left back, can we petition to block him for a week?
Just finished watching it as I recorded it. I'm speechless, that was stunning.
Aaronson - what a signing. Harrison, Rodrigo and Adams all excellent as well.
What a game.

Reason was fairly obvious, your statement was wrong, I pointed it out.
Only in your view, but as ever you failed to state a reason, I've no idea why you think you are above everyone on this site with your put me downs, maybe you are better off on WACCOE with all the other idiots that chose to try and belittle everyone ?

Not on my MOTM list, but I thought Kristensen took a big step forward today. Solid all game long.
I thought Rasmus showed a lot more positional discipline today. It wasn't a great performance by him in my view. But it was good enough. And I thought that he and Adams were very effective pressing on that side to break things up and win back possession. Which is the essence of Jesse's system. And both were good at advancing the ball once possession was won.

I wouldn't bother with him Velo - he just likes being rude and winding people up.

Hopefully people will start to understand and appreciate Marsch's system now - we no longer part like the Red Sea down the middle.
