Sam Allardyce was appointed manager of Leeds United in May 2023 with only four matches remaining to save the club from relegation. Known for his experience and crisis management, he was brought in as a last-ditch effort. Despite some improvement in organisation, Leeds were relegated on the final day of the season. Allardyce left the club immediately, having managed just four matches in one of the shortest reigns in club history.
