Leeds were finally put out of their misery, with little more than a wimper, after Spurs cruised to a 4-1 victory at Elland Road. After a pitiful campaign, it was expected that Allardyce's overpaid prima-donnas from LS11 would at least give their fans the sending off party they deserved; after all, they were playing against a Tottenham team with five losses from their previous seven games. Some hope! In a last desperate bid for survival, big Sam lined up an impenetrable five man defence, which proved as useful as a chocolate teapot, as Harry Kane fired the visitors ahead after just 90 seconds; leaving the players shell shocked and their fans exasperated. Leeds had several opportunities to equalise, but as usual squandered their chances.

There was more than a hint of daja vu, when Spurs doubled their lead two minutes into the second half. Kane sliced open the Leeds defence, threading a ball, deep within the Leeds penalty area, gratefully received by Porro. Without much support, the Spaniard took a pot shot from a wide acute angle, but still managed to find the back of the net.

This was far more than the fans could handle; large sections of the crowd finally (yet six months too late) turned on their fallen stars with renditions of 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'. Jack Harrison gave Leeds something to cheer about two thirds into the game, only for Kane to restore their two goal cushion two minutes later.

Lucas Moura gave the travelling fans a memorable send off with a solo effort in the dying moments of the game, whilst the Leeds players pondered on where they'll be playing next season.

Cooper & Struijk culpable for two goals each. Cooper, Koch, Ayling & Kristensen putting in no challenge for their 4th goal.

Is it any wonder why Big Sam was constantly shaking his head.

16 good actions from Wober in the first half.
15 good actions from Kristensen in the first half.
15 good actions from Forshaw in the first half.

So why was Wober subbed?

I reckon we may not have conceded at least two of those three goals with Wober on the park.

8 shots/headers off-target.

Since our return to the PL, Jack Harrison scored our first & last goal at this level.

Pontus brick song was loud
Obviously, folk on here thought Wober had a poor game.

If it’s a small consolation it’s that we won’t financially implode like we did in 2003.

What is worrying me however, is the time it will take to get the management structure in place, get a methodology back in our play, and hopefully mould the players to that style.

With the ownership also in doubt I can’t see how we are going to be ready for next season.

I didn’t boo, I didn’t applaud (other than Adams and a couple of others).

Chanting you fat ba***rd to McKennie was disgraceful.
I sang the Bielsa & former players songs.

Great singing the Pontus/Berardi & the others songs again with the Klich song heartily loud, all making a point of previous coach/players loved in comparison to the current squad.

You have to take the bad times with the good. And booing your own team is a definite no-no in my book.
