Re: Golf Thread
The PGA is in shock over the sudden death of player Grayson Murray on Saturday morning. 30 year old Murray was unable to complete his second round at the Charles Schwab on Friday afternoon after feeling ill and passed away on Saturday morning. Murray made the cut at the PGA Championship just last we...

As a club, we should have burned several shirts over the years. These are three shirts I wouldn't be seen dead in. 2013/14 - The club struggled to give this shirt away at the end of the season. Screenshot 2024-05-25 08.13.37.png 2022/23 - A horrible mess, that doesn't do our large built fans any fa...

For some reason, that hideous faded gold one also reminds me of Ross McCormack as well.White Riot wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 7:42 am Horrible all of them Leon
You wonder which dummy thought that those designs looked great
I seem to remember Billy Sharp and Ross McCormack playing in the top one? Could be wrong though?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 24th May) Southampton strike duo mystery after missing training
Everyone is on about Smallbone and Downes as being the important men for Southampton, or are concerned about Che Adams. but I am fearful of what David Brooks might do to Firpo, Do you think Junior can handle him?IMG_20240524_160706.jpg It's a worry. Brooks is a good player and Firpo struggles with ...

Not a massive miss tbh.
We have more than enough still available to win this game.

Re: Leeds United v Southampton - Match Thread
I think Martin Russell wanted to beat us to lay down a amrker for the play-offs and get in our heads. Hopefully, like you said, it backfires. Also hopefully it has given Farke more of an idea of what doesn't work v Southampton and what might work. Possibly although there was no guarantee we would b...

Re: World Darts Tournie - Luke Humphries
He’s different class Swannie. Kid is only 17 and he totally has Humphries number. He’ll dominate the sport for years to come. Unbelievable level of scoring last night. I think Humphries had an average of something like 102 and still lost. I think the Littler v Humphries rivalry will be up there wit...

Re: Leeds United v Southampton - Match Thread
Reasons to be cheerful Southampton pair Che Adams and Ross Stewart were absent from the club's training video ahead of this weekend's play-off final against Leeds United. Both forwards have experienced varying degrees of injury problems lately with Adams picking up an issue in the 2-1 win over Leed...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 23rd May) - I hope to God they get through – Viduka Exclusive
I’m one of those who (erroneously) always believed the Wembley pitch bigger than others, so I fretted a bit about Firpos defensive positioning. Now I’m not concerned. I know at some stage he’ll get lost and we could pay a high price, but I’m happy with his attacking/assisting prowess, so Jr would g...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 22nd May) Losses to Saints will have little impact on Sunday
Farke seems to be both consistant an pragmatic He sidelined Martin who was captain of the Norwich team. And he has adopted similar tactic with Leeds captain Liam Cooper. The only sentimentality that has crept in was him allowing Cooper to play for 10 minutes at the end of the Norwich semi when we w...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets
I would love to be at Wembley on Sunday but had no chance of obtaining a ticket legitimately and I'm not paying over inflated prices so Sky TV coverage with a couple of cold ones it is for me. Southampton are a good attacking side and Adam Armstrong is undoubtedly their main threat. I dare say, if w...

Re: Golf Thread
Happy for Schauffele but happier still that nobody from the LIV tour won. Thought it was the height of hypocrisy for those guys to take Saudi money to abandon the PGA tour and then go to court demanding to be allowed to play in the PGA's tournament. Totally agree. I've lost all respect for Jon Rahm...

Most annoying thing all weekend was everytime Rory hit a duff shot Paul McGinley saying it was a loss of concentration. Of course he might be right but it's far more likely he just can't handle the heat of the majors anymore because as soon as he gets anywhere near being in contention he throws in ...

They as well of just handed them the trophy in August.
Who else can afford to have a 100 million pound player warming the bench?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 20th May) - Piroe or Bamford?
Piroe for me.
Bamford has missed way too much game time this season to be considered for the final.
There's no denying Piroe is slow but he has a good touch and links the play well. And he's a better finisher than Bamford.

Congratulations to Xander Shauffle for holding off Bryson Dechambeau to win the PGA Championship. Viktor Hovland was the highest placed European, finishing third. Shane Lowry and Justin Rose were well in contention of the final day but faded towards the end. Elsewhere, Nelly Korda won her sixth tour...
