Guy is 31, has missed 50 odd games through injury in the last few seasons and is still injured now.

Do have a degree of sympathy on a human level but whose going to take a risk on that?

He isn't even fit now

Not I.

Bit part Championship player his whole career for a reason whose only truly shone in League 1 as said before who gets praised disproportionately for his performances because of his injuries.

And anyway even if he was prime Modric he has missed 60% I think it is of league games since he arrived through injury.

Nice bloke, do a job for a lower end Championship team (if fit) but wouldn't get a sniff at any other Premier League club.

If fit he can do a great job.
In fact think back to the Spurs game, having a DFM of his ilk coming on would have helped us hold on to our lead.

Whe n he returned last season he was one of our better players, remember that tackle in the ManU game?
