The reality of the lack of investment in the squad now means that we just have to gear everything to survival. If we can extract a nice tune from the team on occasion in the process then that would be really nice. Unfortunately, it’s more likely to be a grind as we simply don’t have players good enough to do much more.

Our young players will continue to grow and we will have to wait/hope for investment to bring in the established, experienced quality players necessary to allow us to really dominate games again. In the meantime it will be all about maintaining a 1 point average per game.

Yes, clean sheet away and a point from a high flying team in 3rd place. This was a great result regardless of what happens next game.
The one that irked me is the ref and Bamford errors that cost us 3 points against Arsenal.
