As for Postecoglu just because he has Celtic winning the Scottish Premiership means didly squat. Its a terrible league and you dont have to be much of a manager to do well there. If either of the big 2 beat each other once or twice a season the league is usually over.
Cant say i have heard of too many of those managers that have been mentioned, and that's not to say they are all bad, but i would go for Pochettino.
He has turned Celtic around in one season., rebuilt a squad in his image while making money for the club with sales.
Scotland is as you say a two horse race but he has his team purring like a well oiled machine who play nice footy.

Much to my frustration too

Defo a manager on the up.

Might be a job too soon for him here but don't be surprised if he rocks up in the PL sooner rather than later.

Maybe I just want him out of Park Head to give Rangers a chance

Jimmy yes, worried about Firpo, too clumsy and awol in defence, think Alioski x 100 but the bunny never ceased to amaze with something i never quite put my finger on, graft mostly and just sheer determination of who dares wins style

I was a Leeds United fan a long time before I ever found this forum or decided to join. Leeds will always be my club in English Football. And I don't intend to leave the forum anytime soon. Sorry Pal, you're stuck with me. ;-)

I agree about him having got Celtic going well :x but like you say maybe just a bit too early for this sort of job. But sometimes guys like that can prove people wrong, just because he isn't a well know name doesn't mean he wont be good.
Oh and stop bringing up Healy, its starting to sound like your a Linfield fan

The sin of pride.

Will never forget Orta's celebration at the end of last season in front of the Leeds fan at Brentford basically taking all the plaudits cos we'd stayed up under Marsch. Orta knew he'd f*cked up massively and got lucky.

Well thanks for the memories Jesse, shame it didn't work out. He seemed really stressed, so hopefully he can get a good rest now. Time for the players to roll their sleeves up and prove they deserve those extortionate wages.

Need to get the next appointment right. Talk of Corberan is very worrying.

Amazing the effect failure has on football managers.

Bielsa became overweight. Jesse has gone the opposite way, looking gaunt & ten years older within twelve months.

Good to have you and the majority of the rest of our Americanoes still with us. Hopefully there will be a lot more unity on this forum, for a while anyway.

It took a lot of people, including the powers that be at ER, a long time to see that Marsch wasn't good enough. Hopefully the next manager will be a significant upgrade and we can all get behind him rather than worrying from day 1 that he is not up to the job.
