Really poor decision making by Sam. If you had to choose between PB & Rod it’s really not very difficult and if Rod misses then so be it. I’d be fine with that. Think Sam went for a bit of glory there tbh

I think Sam was guilty of overthinking it there. Wanted to build Paddy’s confidence/not destroy his confidence. And then justified it by Paddy being the designated PK taker.

Personally, I’d have gone Rodrigo or Harrison. And should another Pk presents itself this year, I’d hope Big Sam prioritizes either.

Point not good enough, but better than nothing. Every Leeds fan (except Mountain probably) knew Bamford would miss and wanted Rodrigo taking it. Bamford was very selfish to take it when he wasn't confident. So much for side before self.

He has been our pen taker for years.
