He would be a massive loss, still a young lad and does react more than he should in certain situations, but he plays with his heart on his sleeve.
He is technically top notch in possession, strong, pacey, two footed, essentially a defenders nightmare. He also has that ability to disguise and play a pass round the corner, rather than straight lines.
One of the first names on the team sheet for me.
We would be mad to sell him, now we have witnessed his best position.
I do think Farke has had a word in Willy's ears, telling him he is our main attacking force & what he expects from him in the future.

Gnonto showed that he can much more effective when not against the touchline as the extra playing space allows him to go both ways and so long may that continue.
Gnonto needs the space to operate, remember the comeback victory against Bournemouth at ER .

Of course, he was playing more down the middle unless my eyes were deceiving me. The runs of Gnonto, Aaronson & James frightened the living daylights out of the Owls defence.
No need to play like we did against West Brom if we play the same formation as last night.
He was just doing what Summerville did last season Leon.
Drifting inside but his actual position was left wing.
It was Aaronson in the Georgie role in the middle.

Really hoping he stays. He changes the whole complexion of the squad. Solomon looks a great signing as a 4th winger. A bit dodgy, injury prone as a 3rd. Gnonto allows Aaronson to focus on being a number 10. And Gnonto has that great versatility to be able to play central or as a 2nd striker. If he stays, he adds several quality options to out forward line.

Don't be saying stuff like that. Don't you know Farke just picks the players and sends them out. No tactics, no plan B etc.
However it's still good business for the club as well as making a star player happy and contented. Gnonto can now concentrate on earning his move away which will only come with goals, assists and great performances on the pitch.

Club sources deny any release clause.
Gonna confuse those who think he's a "traitor" and wants out .... His contract was till 2027 so it's likely we're giving him a raise for the extra year

Never confuse intellect with imagination.
Never let good taste stand in the way of style ~ big nosed Pseudo intellectual, sarky super hero, weirdly obsessed idiot stalker, boring smarmy w*nker, worst pollster, far right dimwit, and resident perspicacious comedian...OR IS HE
Top, top player, there is a good chance he will eclipse Summerville this season in terms of value to the team. Getting his goals stats might be hard as he is more than a one position player whose impact on the game is more than just goals. His link play, ball retention and game management is exceptional at this level.

Hopefully no more of that tripe spouted about him.

Never was for me, just a kid who was getting mixed messages via whatever advice he was getting.. Whenever I see him on LUTV or in game there's always a big smile and he's a joker.
