I don't know much about him to be honest, so I'm hoping he's going to be a valued asset.

If that cameo is a taster of things to come Gruev might be under threat at some point as a starter. It may depend on the other set piece options.

LovkyLeeds did a video a couple months back on midfield targets for the new season. One was Tanaka - as he always does, showed all his stats, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
I started looking for some coverage of him in games.
He seems to be an intelligent midfielder, good on the ball. Yes a different style to Gruev. Good to have the 2 options.
