Welcome to the party, 3 months late. Could see this coming in August, never happy with the players we got in.

No knee jerk but I'm sorry to say we need some fresh ideas and I don't think Farke has them in him. Plus, it wouid give someone time before the Jan window.

Agree that tactics don’t help but their second goal a defending disgrace.
Players simply not good enough at this level

I saw a funny comment there on his post match interview, when he again mentioned that we are newly promoted, so our Sunderland mate.
The comment was "DF is an expert in getting relegated from the EPL"

Farke post match interview
Despite Lukas Nmecha’s first-half strike against Nottingham Forest, Leeds United slipped to defeat at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking to LUTV at full-time, Whites’ boss Daniel Farke explained how he thought the game got away from his side.
“On this level, small details always make the difference,” the German began. “In small situations, we were not switched on enough.
“We had a good start, excellent finish from Lukas Nmecha to go and lead. I was a bit frustrated that we gave this lead so easily and cheaply away, because normally when you go and lead, you have to take this euphoria in order to have more pressure on the ball, to be aware.
“Perhaps we were still celebrating because whatever 90 seconds after going ahead then to concede so early the equaliser was of course one decisive moment.
“Second decisive moment was in the 2-1. Self-critically, we have to say, yeah, long ball, then the cross comes in. We have to defend the man in the box better.
“Of course, we tried everything to bring many offensive-thinking players on the pitch because we wanted this equaliser so much and a bit of clumsy behaviour of course and we gave the penalty away.
“For them it was a must-win game, home game here against us, who are just promoted into this league and we have several points clear, so always got the feeling the longer the game goes, the more chances we will get.
“And of course we wanted also to win this game but then you have to make sure that you are on it. We didn’t give too much away but we have conceded in both away games and also today three goals and this is a bit annoying.
“Again in the decisive moments we have to be clinical in defending, we have to return back to our best behaviour in terms of what we did in the beginning of the season with many clean sheets.”
What a load of waffling bullstih……

He just trotted the same lines out again after the match today.
Newly promoted club!
Doesn't seem to bother Sunderland and Le Bris never mentions it. Different mindset.

You're assuming that if the 49ers sack him now they'll manage to get someone in before January Swannie
Have you not being paying attention to the Rangers debacle?

I can't see us getting anything out of our next ten games.
I was hopeful of Villa at home, but they have hit top form.
8 of our games are against the top 10 teams, the other two vs Brentford & Newcastle away.
On current form, we'll be relegated by early January.

Re: Nottingham Forest v Leeds United Match Thread
Im so upset about this, like i said on another thread in previous p.l seasons where we went through this kind of rut and could not hit a barn door......... at least we tried!
This is just pathetic...
Players just are not good enough, even in the championship over the last 2 years we needed to rely on good fortune/ adrenaline/ other teams under performing to get the wins, (because even in the championships we went through these poor runs!)
The players are not good enough on raw talent alone. (Apart from dan james and a few others)

Got a draw vs Real Madrid today.
Literally is the new Iraola.
But suspect he'd turn us down, apparently committed to being loyal to Rayo Vallecano till the end of the season.

Re: Nottingham Forest v Leeds United Match Thread
And it's Farke's job to set the defence, make sure players understand their positioning and assignments.. When a couple of players have an off day it's likely the players. When the entire team has an off day, it's the manager
