Bornaauw and Stach were running on fumes for most of the 2nd half on Sunday.

Im not surprised that they're left out. I do think they'll play the cup game.

I'm surprised Joe is fit. He's a tough bugger isnt he.

I also wondered about Gruev vs Tanaka, but Ao is proving to be a real difference maker when he comes off the bench. He's also more versatile imo than Gruev, so can slot in where needed at the moment.

From the line up, I wonder if strategy will be same as for Liverpool?

Awful headed attempt by Struijk.

Free header and easier to score but misses the target.

That pull back on Ampadu should have been a yellow. Very blatant from Barnes.

Newcastle looking a little rattled here.

Our players don't seem to have the intuition to find space in the box.

The crosses have gone into the right places, but we had nobody there

Not bad for our centre back to even try and be a winger though

Great start..... But should be 0-1.... That's the third free/open goal header this season Struijk hasn't got anywhere near on target  .....

Keep on going and let's make something stick.

And DCL puts a cross to nobody that was even worse than Rodon's.

No composure.

No penalty. The attacker clearly hit the ball out of the keepers hands.
