A 12month extension on lower end wages maybe.
He's certainly not worth the bumper one he's probably on at the moment (Orta handed those out like confetti).
Llorente was on £100k a week according to Kinnear BA will be on more than people think.

A 12month extension on lower end wages maybe.

Who are you referring to, Victor?Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 11:27 am Get the geriatric to do the poll: he likes to do the nonsensical ones![]()

Impulsive, unknowledgeable idiots.Wes Lee Street wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 1:03 pm I watched on a split screen with the Conor One Leeds watch along in a second window. WTF

Leeds United Americas has dozens of chapters (47, actually) around the USA, Canada, and Mexico. We paid for a big brick near the foot of the Bremner statue. I took the worst selfie ever lying on my back next to it. Our American following is not nearly as large as the clubs loved by front-running fans (Liverpool, ManU, Arsenal, City) but it is quite substantial and growing.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 8:06 am No idea Malcolm. Most big cities in the USA have sizable EPL fanbases. I do know that LUFC have a large supporters group chapter in Chicago. But this was set up as a "home match" for Manure. Go figure....![]()

Those watch alongs are appalling...Wes Lee Street wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 1:03 pm I watched on a split screen with the Conor One Leeds watch along in a second window. Schrodinger's Brandt.Jaydog wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 11:50 am I would probably apply that to signings/non signings too.
Prior to possible signing. “We want Brandt as he could be the difference between success & failure. He will unlock defences”.
After he signs for Ajax. “Geriatric clogger. Good riddance as didn’t want him anyway. Too old and not up to the Premier League intensity”.

Thank god for that.

I haven't got a clue mate. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 1:04 pm Go on then I'm Aaronson negotiate with me. I want four years and 90k to bring me up to Longstaff, what's your offer ?

I take it you don't know that the 'PSV' in PSV Eindhoven actually stands for Pink Stuff Vanish as they were founded before the company split into two.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 12:01 pm I was gutted he chose Ajax (everyone's favourite dutch team named after a floor cleaning product). But... we move on...

BA is reportedly on £45k per week so you would think there is plenty of room for negotiation. I suppose you'd have to work out what other clubs would be willing to pay him wages wise and whether we were willing to pay similar. You then have to factor in whether it is worth paying those wages or whether it makes more sense to let him leave and then buy a replacement and what the replacements wages would be etc.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 1:04 pm Go on then I'm Aaronson negotiate with me. Plenty of very very average players had long Premier League careers and played fairly regularly for poor international sides.1964white wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 1:02 pm Brenden has 60 caps under his belt.
Around 75 Premier League appearances.
Played in all of our championship games in our title-winning season.
Scored 40 goals at a decent level.
Footballers with those CV credentials don't come cheap, he is a Premier League player.

I read that piece this morning & if I hadn’t watched the game I wouldn’t have had a Scooby who Liverpool were playing. Hopefully we can repeat the result when it counts so at least people know who the mighty Liverpool were playingJaydog wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2026 11:41 am The BBC summary of the game was a classic.
It was a game of “whatever you do don’t mention the team that isn’t Liverpool”. No description of any Leeds goal just wittering on about Iraola.
Was interesting to hear Iraola hates this time of year as all the players aren’t back in yet and he still doesn’t know who might not be coming back at all.
Well if he doesn’t know what chance do any fans have…
