I expect that to be MB's starting XI too. Perhaps Koch on the bench and a bunch of U23s. Not my preferred XI but what I think matters not a jot.

Whatever the case, we need to watch Lacazette. He loves a dive and a roll around.

I am disinclined to second guess the line up. I don’t recall ever getting it right.

To have to put out a team devoid of 7 or 8 1st choice players would be a very tough ask for most clubs in the prem, so good luck to todays eleven, just give us loads of effort and commitment and who knows what might happen !

Wasn’t expecting a win even with a full squad to pick from - a draw perhaps. But now another defeat is on the cards I’m afraid, I just hope we can keep it respectable. Carol service this evening so won’t be able to watch, which may be just as well!

If we can give a good account of ourselves even in defeat I’ll be reasonably happy, anything other than loss would be incredible.

On a positive note - we will not end up with a fixture congestion issue. That could work in our favour with Burnley, who will now be 3 games behind potentially playing midweek and at the weekends in the new year. Dyche isn’t one to moan

Exactly. All the other clubs must think Leeds are just rediculous in not saying the players have covid. Rogers wanted their game cancelled because he had a few injuries and 2 cases of Covid. Leeds need to get real here and call it off. What a soft touch we've become.

There needs to be a root and branch inspection of what on earth is going on with all these injuries at Leeds, maybe it’s the training methods or maybe the physio’s are not fit for purpose. To be left with 6 first team players is absolutely diabolical from a professional sports team. There is no chance of winning a premier league game against anyone at the moment and given how this seasons gone I am under no illusion that this issue will abate - we need a West Brom style mass loan recruitment drive in January.

Just what I was thinking DDB. I would rather get the games played now and pick up what points we can which really piles the pressure on the others . The downside is we play Burnley (covid allowing) at the beginning of January so they may be slightly fresher .
