Newcastle played it smart. Can’t blame them for running the clock down at every opportunity. We just did not take our chances and they get a really soft goal.

Got exactly what we deserved, no bollocks about 'bad luck' just bad recruitment and tactics. Absoutely piss poor result, totally toothless side.

You f**king morons

We made a right arse out of that and hopefully is a wake up call for anyone deluded enough to think that 1 good performances vs West Ham meant we were safe.

No positives here today, Newcastle fans expected a battering not their 2nd win of the season.

We made a right mess out of this.

End product was exceptionally poor quality, poor final pass, poor shooting, the Newcastle game plan was sound and worked quite well overall and whilst you could say a draw was fair we only have ourselves to blame.

You cant have an entire team who only has 1 player with na decent end product, our focus on sprinters and runners may suit the system but individually it leaves you very short on quality.

fuming with this

Newcastle played it smart, they broke up play and wasted time and did whatever they could to stop the game becoming open.

Always thought Newcastle were too good to be down the bottom and I think they'll get clear. We just need to hope we're above Watford Burnley and Norwich at the end.

Apparently we were s**t, though 🙄
Not s**t in my opinion but certainly lack quality and guile in forward areas. The defence has certainly improved in recent weeks. Goalkeeping mistake cost us today.

Oh and Angus Kinnear can shove his notes up his bum

This squad is massively short on quality and some teenagers dont fix that so shut up you absolute spin merchant.

He completely ignores that MB has a pecking order and MB himself has said the kids wouldnt play anywhere near as much if it wasnt for injuries.

Mothing to do with MB having faith in them, he had literally no choice.

Give over - we going to go with the he is dhit so is he. Needed a world class forward this window …. Why didn’t we get one. Orta is doing nothing , Radz wants to sell up and doesn’t give a s**t. Square pegs and all that shite.
This is what happens if you don’t take your chances - it is football. Painful, frustrating and hard to take. But we wil all be back for the next game.

Funnily enough you know as soon as Roberts comes on we’ve thrown the towel in, he was hopeless again. Their goal scoring free kick came from him losing the ball cheaply upfield. Not the only poor player for us today of course but personally my heart sinks whenever he comes on to the pitch.

That was a game we should have won, we seemingly just can't finish. Roberts comes on and we lose  :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Better side untill they score but you need to score to win games. We can with James at 9 and Roberts as first sub. What on earth Bielsa sees on Roberts an average Championship player at his best

We shouldn't be losing at home to Newcastle, no excuses for it. Orta needs to sort out a signing or two, not pissing arounnd buying Toblerone at duty free. MB needs some therapy for his Roberts attachment.

Also Bielsa has to take some responsabiliyu.

Rodrigo is not a midfielder, he is a second striker, he doesnt fit our system but he is more a loan striker than Dan James.

Just play players as close to their best position as you can.

James is not a striker and Newcastle handled him so easily today because if he has no space to run into then he is no use up top.

But Bielsa plays James their because he runs a lot which is symptomatic of a fundamental problem with our squad, far far to many players in it whose only real strength s running, the lack of quality especially in the midfield and attacking areas is criminal for a Premier League side.

Actually it was useless roberts, he lost the ball not once but twice, they broke down the left, Llorente commited the foul, yes bad goalkeeping, but look at the source, roberts, how the f**k he gets anywhere near that team is a mystery.

Pet project !! Same as James. Too many ageing broken biscuits and no quality.

2 weeks off and 1 week in transfer window left. Ummm let's see who comes in because Roberts, rodrigo, klich all defo need replacing and Daniel James what a waste of 30m. Not worth 5m of anyone money.

I did say we would lose last week. Just shows how massive that win was at West Ham. It's not a terminal defeat, but a very poor one. If this isn't a wake up call to deluded ones that the squad isn't good enough, then I don't know what is!
