This is a Leeds United Football Club forum not the Marcelo Bielsa fan club at the end of of day.

We all appreciate him and what he has done but  that doesn't mean unquestionable loyalty and total agreement.

Every manager gets criticism.

Do some people really think after defeats Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp don't get absolutely hammered on their respective club forums?

Do they think Pep hasn't taken absolute pelters for not winning the Champions league?

Brenden Rodgers has lead Leicester to a cup win and back to back 5th placed finishes. Go read Leicester forum, many want him sacked now.

Many managers have been sacked for far better than we have had this season, at the end of the day this season has been crap.

Injuries have played a part but Bielsa choose to sign nobody this window and so he clearly doesn't feel injuries are an excuse so why should we make them for him?

We give him credit for getting the best out of this squad but this is his squad, he has helped build it over the last 4 years and he wants it in its current shape.

If he can be credited with getting the most out of it then surely he has to be criticised for its vast limitations?

He experienced an extraordinary amount of praise last season for our style and tactics, not just from us but the wider media. So it is only right that when it isn't working and he is choosing not to change then he experiences the criticism.

We all want what's best for the club and the club is bigger than any one man.

No this isn't isn't sack Bielsa post it is more a defence of those who aren't seen as "true fans" if they dare criticise Bielsa.

In Bert i trust. I do agree though, Roberts is gash, and fck knows what Bert sees in him.

Basically we really struggle when we are subjected to MB's own style of play - a high press with lots of energy, and opposition players nipping in to steal the ball high up the pitch etc. We frequently lose possession in our own half when trying to build from the back, which puts the defence and midfield under immediate pressure. We just can't cope with this.

Been thinking this myself, but we are fooked with injuries and square pegs in round holes and quite a few shite/average/not good enough for the Prem players, so i can easily forgive him, no fcking manager on earth could win games with what we've got available atm.

You don't know this, but Bielsa is harming our progression refusing to accept good players and won't move on from the Championship sentiment. If we don't go down this year, then we definitely will next year.

If we don't go down this year, we'll be safe for another 5 as long as Bert stays.

If you want him out fair play you could have it far worse, great team to watch even better when all players are fit.

If he leaves at the end of season.

Which he will keep you up then he's done a good job.

Spot on as per Bongo, some here should be careful what they wish for, Bert has worked wonders with some i considered trash, and he still is.

He'll introduce the youth when he's good and ready and not a moment sooner, in Bert i trust and always will, his system some take to sooner than the others that's all (Rodrigo) and others will just never get it and must go (Costa fortune, all the monkey with a pins fault)

Roberts a complete mystery to me though, and another of Ortas trash, if Bert comes through with this one like Bamford, Dallas, Cooper and Phillips ( and a few more).....i really will eat the proverbial hat.

Bielsa wanted Forshaw too.

He is on £8m a year. This idea that we can only attract Pulis, Bruce or Fat Sam if he leaves is delusional. Especially as a PL club.

8m a year, Phillips a 2.5m rated player pre Bert, 75m plus now ? .......... Cooper ? Dallas ? Ayling ? Forshaw ? Bamford ? etc

I'll give you Roberts, even Bert's struggling with him.

So 4 years here at 8m...32m, recovered plus some in Kalvin alone.
