No movement. lack of fitness. Apathy set in. Just won the ball there up the pitch and passed backwards

Because they tried to wing it and got overconfident.

Everton have adapted the squad to a more defensive and direct style.

It's got them points

We have a totally inflexible squad.

Whose fault is that?

Whats happened to Raph.?
Playing too narrow and probably pissed off

Got it, this is a defence v attack training session isn't it? If the defence get the ball they have to kick it back to the attackers..

Under 23s relegated as-well, all the supposed progression made at the club in the last few seasons completely wiped out by a board and manager who couldn’t move on.

We'll need them next season for the Championship though.

Dan James is our new wingback.
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

U23s relegated as well.

Bielsa and Orta managing to relegate 2 age groups in 1 season must be a record?

Only wish I'd filled my boots with 33/1 vouchers on relegation. Always looked far too big but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.
