Overall he's been a bit disappointing since the start of the season, but has certainly stepped it up the last couple of games.

Tbf I guess he's come into a new team, league, country....alot of change and understandably it will take a period to adjust.
He has Cat

Been concerned about him but he has stepped up recently.

Hopefully continues.

Showing his worth in the last 2 or 3 games after a rough introduction. I'd been pushing for an Ayling start just to add some pressure. But no doubt now that Rasmus is our right back.

That's Zaha and Martinelli shut out in the last two matches.

2 of the most dangerous left wingers in the league because of there pace and tricks.

Big Rasmus swatted them aside by and large.

After a shakey start to say the least he has been excellent last 2 games against tricky opponents.

Starting to look like he did in Champion's League for RB Salzburg. I've always believed he was a good signing. And yes, after a shaky start he is beginning to settle. Which is actually pretty quickly considering it's been 9 matches in the Prem.

I was calling for Ayling immediately after the international break. Not long term, but just for a couple of games while Rasmus found his way. he's been immense defenively in the last 2 games. Still, I would like to see him doing a little more at the other end of the pitch. Great effort in defence. But he should at least be matching Strujik's attacking contributions.

Rasmus will never be that attacking right back...hes more defensive...in national team you can really see what he brings to the team...hes a really good defender but doesnt do much up front...

Yesterday he was able to get forward into the attack. Which is certainly useful, if not crucial in Jesse's system. But I have yet to see him deliver a good ball into the box. Hi defending was excellent!!

In our last three games Rasmas has had Bailey, Zaha & Martinelli in his pocket, they hardly got a kick.

Can our fans recall how Zaha & Martelli on our games vs Palace & Arsenal.

£12m was a snip for Kristensen.

What was that team selection all about yesterday?

Rasmas arguably one of our better players of late & he was dropped for the Fulham game.

Meanwhile, his replacement Ayling is given the runaround by 34yo freebie signing Willian.

WTF was Ayling marking Mitrovic for Fulham's opening goal who got totally outdone by their brute? no game management to counteract their No.9, surely our captain & vice-captain should be making a decision who pick's Mitrovic up with either the Big Pirate, Koch or Cooper himself doing the job. Are our captain's braindead? It was noticeable Pascal marked Mitrovic at Fuham's following corners, all too late by then as the damage was already done.

Omitting Rasmas from the team also eliminates someone who is decent in the air at set-pieces.

We create our downfall with one crazy decision after another.

God knows how dropping Kristensen is going to affect his confidence from here on.

Thoughts on Rasmus now? He's barely had a sniff since the world cup. I thought he was starting to establish himself. But Ayling has come back so well and offers so much more. More experience in defence and more creativity going forward.

As things stand right now. I'd be offering Ayling an extension in the summer. And I'd look to sell Rasmus since we can't expect him to stick around for another season as 2nd choice.
