Me and a few friends were watching the match when he brought Rod on I couldn't believe it there was absolutely no point to it. One of my friends said WTF is your manager doing. No reason to bring him on, now I am raging at such a stupid decision.

So how .any players got injured during Bielsa's reign?

Wasn’t Bamford still on the pitch when he brought Rodrigo on? I think he unselfishly set Rodrigo up and he missed. Why would you have those 2 on together @ 3-0. Having a look for the future? Total balls up

Well it's up to the others now to keep us in the PL. Amazing how we always seem to have at least one of our 2 main strikers injured .Soon as PB comes back Rodney goes missing.

If Paddy gets crocked before Rodrigo comes back, a 4-3-3 with the three forwards being…

Salah———Jota / Firmino———Mane

Cry———Gnonto / Rutter———Sini

All similar height, it worked for Liverpool and they were chasing honours whereas we just need to stay in games and get the odd win.

Ps, we’re kicking this way 👇🏻

Surely out of all the clubs, around us in the potential relegation places, we have the best attacking options that will produce goals.

Bamford>Gnonto>Rutter>Summerville>Sinisterra>Harrison>Aaronson

He was indeed, Paddy set Rodrigo up beautifully, who should have scored had he shot to the goalies right as opposed to hitting his shot straight at him.

Carry On Hindsighting.

I’d agree ordinarily but at the time I thought “why’s he on”. There was no point and now our top scorer is going to miss 2 months plus getting back to match fitness time. FA Cup is a curse

Anyway, I still maintain we have enough talent with the £100 million that we have spent on the seven players I've mentioned above.

Do you not think it odd, Ian.
3-0 and you bring your top scorer on. If it’s a PL game and he gets injured I totally accept it but in that game there’s not a manager in the PL who would risk it

Did he do it in the game? I didn't hear that part. But I did question why we'd bring him on at 3 up. Would have been perfect time for Joseph or Perkins to play.

Not wasted Leon. I listen to all the podcasts too and had had heard the rumour. Didn't realize it would be so prolonged though. Was hoping it was just a niggle.

Like everyone else, was baffled why he didn't give a youngster some valuable experience.

But. I imagine he was trying to experiment with Bamford and Rodrigo on the pitch together. Game management scenarios.

Well hindsight. Would have been nice to have Joffy now. But even when Bamford was injured, Marsch hardly used him.

If something happens to Bamford, they'll probably drop Rutter in there (even if he was bought to play wider)

Bielsa didnt put one of our most prolific players on against league one cloggers when we were 3 - 0 up. That's the point. Putting Ridrigo on when it was totally unnecessary!

You can't pick teams on what might happen, my guess is JM said Rodri would get game time and Rodri hates to miss any game time...

Perkins and Joseph will just have to cover and for me it's kinda a good thing Joffy went out on loan as he's not a 9. Huge difference playing the 9 and the 10 roles... We can all remember Rodrigo underperforming playing the 10 under Bielsa
