Yeah it seems like too much work needed to make this team compete in the premier league so very likely to have the same result next season if we stay up.

Either way it goes Orta simply has to be shown the door, 6 transfer windows spending what must be more than 250 million and this is the crap we are left with - Fulham as the commentators frequently reminded us have a lot more quality than Leeds and that’s damning in itself.

I suspect that this is the worst Leeds United side that has ever played in the top tier.

Overhyped a bit I think (some fans said he was better than Raph ffs) but still should be starting now. Just a kid, not fair on him to be relied upon though

Gracia seems to have a real thing for Harrison and Aaronson and using older players.

Maybe that's why?
I’d start him in Aaronson’s position or bring him on after an hour to replace him but Sini is the better bet atm as a winger on the left.

Harrison would edge it before him too based on the last month or so since he supposedly recovered from his ankle injury.

I’m really trying to find some optimism in all of this. Just an incoherent mess at the moment.

In the process, we’ll rid ourselves from the overpriced primadonnas on the squad. I suspect teams will be offering even less than the release clauses in certain players’ contracts. We need a clean out.
I agree with this Joe. McKennie will be gone. Which is fine he is not a good fit anyway. If the goal is to come right back up I would try and retain Aaronson, Adams, Roca, and Worber. I think all would perform well in the Championship. And they will provide some leadership. Especially Adams and Worber. I would keep Gnonto and Summerville. I think we are stuck with Rutter.

Sell Bamford, Rodrigo, Sinistera, Koch, Harrison, Firpo, and Meslier.

And then give Drameh and Cresswell and some of the other kids a REAL shot at winning starting jobs.

If we do go down we absolutely MUST have a new Manager. Javi Gracia has shown me nothing.

Those are the EXACT players I would sell. I would, however, offer Bamford a chance to stay, but at a reduced price tag. I say that as I doubt there will be many suitors lining up for him so I think we’ve got some bargaining power there. He and Joffy could be a nice duo in the ‘ship.

Regarding Roca, he could be good in the ‘ship, but if he’s pushing to get back to Spain, I won’t put a stop to it (Gyabi, Greenwood, Foreshaw, and possibly Gray could take his role…as well as a promising youngster via transfer).

Adams would be an absolute monster in the Championship and that might be a golden opportunity for him to refine his passing, attacking movement, and his long range shot. Both he and Wober are our core players and are IRREPLACEABLE for me. I could see loaning both out to Premiership sides for the upcoming season as well.

The physicality in the Championship would be good for Aarsonson to develop against, but I’d have a long sit down with him about what his long term plans are…needs to strengthen and toughen up significantly. If he doesn’t want to do that, he’ll need to go to a mid/low Bundesliga team or top tier Eredivisie squad.

Easy to say who to sell. You would attract buyers for Koch, Harrison and Meslier and perhaps Sini but the other 3 are on big contracts they will not move without a comparable offer. My guess is loaned out like Llorente if we are very lucky.

But I suspect we will have to sell what we would rather keep to balance the books and pay the wages for those who will be in no hurry to leave on a reduced contract.

If we go down it will be a s**t storm during the summer, I suspect we are in a worse financial mess now than we were this time last year.

Gracia gets more negative with every game. Truly worried that we will not expose Leicester’s frailties and allow them to build confidence, they still have a lot of quality players in that team.

There is no way we could keep Adams if we are relegated! Ship the lot out for me barring Wober/Robles. Would Wober stay if we go down? Doubt it. Get rid of all the cr@p we have bought...

When you look at 16th down to 20th there was one win in the last 25 games between five teams, that win is keeping Leeds just above the rest of the pack.

1 win in 25 games!!!

And TBF to Gnonto, he is much better on the left and I know Sinisterra has had some good performances on the right. I’d really like to see him on the left wing next match, Summerville in place of Aaronson, and Sini out on the right. Bamford belongs as the starter over Rodri, IMHO.

Only saw the first half, but it felt that was another missed opportunity due to our insistence on sitting back and hoping for a clean sheet. Not seen the goals, so can't comment on Mes, but it's our fault for not signing any competition in the hope we'd flog him for big money.

What's it like having a coach as poor as Meslier, Kristensen McKennie, Roca, Aaronson & the rest of our no-hopers?

That's Javi's cunning plan, lose all our matches and hope those below us do too.

Makes a lot of sense :?

We certainly won't do a Burnley or Hecky's blunts.

Also next season we won't have Bielsa, Berardi, White, Phillips & Hernandez

I can't even be bothered thinking about it Leon.

It's so boring.

Two seasons in a row of this garbage.

I'm working today, and sort of half watched the match. Wasn't even bothered when we got beaten, I'm that used to it now.

Shows how terrible the bottom 5 are.
And we are probably the worst of the 5 tbh.
