The lack of rotation is inexplicable. Aaronson, James, Piroe and Solomon have all been on a long slog since Christmas. And yet he refuses to start Gnonto or Ramazani who have looked electric at times. Yet, when they come on they're rusty through lack of action. (Less so for Gnonto who has had a couple of strong sub appearances)

It's a heartbreaking moment when you concede in this manner. It's football. Sometime you are on the wrong end on the course of a long season.

The goals conceded

I can't expain but we don't need to speak baout this too much.

Overall, it was a typical first game after the interntional break. We hasn;t trained together for two weeks. We needed to shake the rustiness from the international break off.

We spoke about this at half time and how we need to calm down. Yeah you can say Ao played the ball back for the corner.

If you asked me 10 days ago, I;d have said very close to starting. Then he went away and had this injury. A serious injury.

There was no chance to start him today, A bit risky to play him today anyway. Hopefully he's in a better situation for the next games.

Not right now [about thinking about his palce in the team]. We win together and draw together. Everyone can see what happened today.

After such a heartbreaking game they don't need a manager to put the disappointment on the players.

I observed him closely during the training week. He looked very sharp.

For me it was clear he could play 60 mins. If not for the yellow card he could have played longer. It wasn't a coincidence that when eh went off we hadn't conceded a goal.

I'm 100 per cent concined we'll play in Premier League next season.

I asked them. Their goalkeeper went down. I asked the fourth official if he can do antthing. He said our hands are tied.

It's been obvious for many seasons now that he is crap, but they've done nothing to replace him.

The truth is that the players displayed astonishing ineptitude and naivety today on the pitch.

And the most annoying part was that they actually started playing better in the second half and then two asolute howlers by Tanaka and Meslier took all the confidence out of the players and they reverted to first half tactical stupidity.

Farke could see it and despite him making the changes the team still insisted in letting us all down including him.

Half that starting line-up had two weeks recovery time & they put in a feeble display like that, they should be ashamed to take their wages in a week LUFC announced a 14% hike on us season-ticket holders.

Today just showed this lot are not good enough to play in the PL, and I suspect the majority of them know it.

He just ain't good enough Jay.

Continues to make the same mistakes all the time and never improved.

We need at goalkeeper who is consistently dependable, and that ain't Meslier.

Any statistic you look at demonstrates he's mediocre. He's had way less to do at this level and still made a heap of howlers.

I've made the point in the past that great goalkeepers have won silverware for teams: Schmeichel, Shilton, Clemence, etc.

Tbh though, Meslier is just one of a number of failure points for us.
