Re: Rasmus Kristensen
Still starts every game apparently
But position varies.
Right back in a back 4
Right wing back in a back 5/3
Right cb in a back 3

Don’t know about the window, but reports of £7.7M if certain clauses are met.
I tried to put the link up, but for some reason I can’t do it any longer.

Since when did the transfer window open in April ?
Still under contract with us until 2027 but apparently Frankfurt have an option to buy this summer.

Re: Rasmus Kristensen
Really not suited to play in English football and is better off plying his trade in other European Leagues.
Wasn't that good when he was here, was not bothered when he jumped ship, could not have cared less when he kept making noises about how he loved life in Germany (and Italy before that) and how settled his family was, would have struggled again if he came back so pleased it's worked out for him and for LUFC.
Plenty of fish. Move on

Re: Rasmus Kristensen
Good enough player while here, better as a CB going forward though and he had the misfortune to play for us under Marsch which would have been a hell of a handicap. Wish him well going forward

Re: Rasmus Kristensen
I think because there was an option to buy then technically a team can trigger that option at any time regardless of the transfer window. It isn't like he is moving to a different club as he is already at the club it is just a case that the deal is legally confirmed. Am sure Bournemouth did the same with one of our players who they initially signed on laon but then converted it to a purchase despite the window being shut - think it was Tyler Adams.

Hopefully Rasmus now breaks a leg in the remaining games this season and then after that we can all wish him well

Could not hack it in English football and much more to his liking in the European leagues. And he has come to realise that.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 6:59 pm Rasmus Kristensen has left the building! https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/ ... 94huW7Vjlw
