I'm obviously not as technically minded football wise as some on here but Stach just seens ok to me,I've not seen anything that impressive so far.

He does seem to be our most "marquee"-esque acquisition. Think DCL has potential too, but Stach has literally hit the ground running.

Some would suggest he wasn't top of our recruitment team's list in the relevant selection.

Anton Stach is the first midfielder to create 3+ chances in each of his first three Premier League appearances since Emiliano Buendía in August 2019 for Daniel Farke's Norwich side.

Wolves(a)

Most notable actions
5 x passes
4 x runs
4 x interceptions
3 x tackles
2 x defensive clearances
1 x goal
1 x assist

Best moments
Haven't seen a strike from a free-kick as good as that was in a long-time from a Leeds player.
His run & pass to set up our third goal.

Rating
9/10

Anton's best game for Leeds & my MOTM just ahead of Gudmundsson.

Cracking pass for the 3rd goal, weighted just right for Okafor to be able to hit it first time without breaking stride. Very easy to totally overhit it or underhit it.

Freekick was a superb hit. MOTD pundit trying to put the blame on the keeper but for me the keeper's positioning was pretty good and he had his wall well set. All about the placement and power for me.

Definitely!

Sa was unsure whether Stach or Gudmundsson was going to take the free-kick, so was covering all angles.

At last we have a player that can hit a proper free kick. I am so glad I will not have to ponder the outcome when the FK is awarded, which previously consisted of two possibilities - into the wall or over the bar.

I can now add - whipped into the postage stamp when he is on the pitch.

Played well today, not sure why he came off, hopefully not an injury

I was expecting 7 and 8 out of ten with the odd 6 maybe every fourth game on average, but I’m seeing two 8, two 7, three 6 and a 5 (out of the eight games we’ve played).
He looks the real deal in some games but fairly average in others.
His dead ball stuff is fine and he has a shot on him but is that enough for him to keep his place or would we really miss him if he was rested?

This post is regarding the Piroe, should he get a start or not, debate.

Fair question, his form has certainly dipped last few games. He has a little unpredictable quality at times that others don’t, so dropping him might be a risk, but he needs to offer more consistency to be guaranteed a start.

Like a few others he might benefit from the kick up the ass that a benching brings.

Harsh, maybe.

Stach was our poorest midfielder at Burnley, though the other two weren't that good either.
