I doubt that

He probably tries to win it back as much!!!!

But actually win it? Unlikely, he has the upper body strength of a small child.

I'm warming to him.

He's atleast becoming a threat now, running with the ball and took his goals well.

He does lose the ball a heck of a lot though.

I suppose it's ok if you aren't punished.

The more involved in a game you are the more touches you get, the more likely some of them will go astray. The more you try to beat players the more you'll lose the ball. We are not one of the ten richest clubs in the world, nor are we one of the long established premier league clubs.. so we don't own the elite/world class versions of anyone

I'm happier seeing players make runs into space that go to waste, attempt dribbles and hit the difficult pass than I am watching safety first, no mistake cautious football. That way is almost certain defeat

I appreciate the players we have have limitations which is why we have them.

But BA has a tendency to hold onto the ball too long, take too many touches, be indecisive etc.

Was no different in the Championship.

He is atleast now showing some end product.

Think BA is clearly a player for whom confidence is a big factor—not that that this isn’t the case for all players to some degree, just more so for him I think. We saw this in spades under Marsch. It’s put a smile on my face, as it has most fans (even you Cjay?), to see his confidence grow for the last several matches, and along with it not only his end product, but his overall play on the pitch too.

He seems a nice kid, despite abandoning us and staying then after because he had no choice as no sod wanted him.

He's never come across as an arrogant ass unlike some of his international teammates.

Well if that is the case then good on him.
Another 5-10% improvement and we’ll be fine.

This last week I fell out of my chair three times, you can probably work out why.

Hopefully an indication that he is evolving. End product has been better these last few games. I am in agreement with the Cjay.

I think BA got some really bad advice from his Agent and others around him in going out on loan. And I think his level of contrition upon his return reflects that. And I agree, he is a nice kid. And he works very hard. Had we paid say $15 million for him, I think most would see him as a good purchase.

As for his International teammates. We got lucky with Adams. Had he not bolted to Bournemouth, we would have had to eat the salary during his nearly two years of injury. But he can f**k off anyway as far as I'm concerned. He's dead to me. And I've never been a McKennie fan. He's a very talented player. But his attitude sucks!! I think both players days are numbered with the USMNT. I wouldn't be surprised if BOTH were left off our World Cup team by Pochettino. McKennie has not been called in for months.
