On today’s showing, I think you might be right. Hope he stays fit, he’s technically very, very good, far better than anything else we’ve got. His touches are sublime.

I think Perri pushes him close but outfield for sure, different class to our other signings. Gudmundsson looks very solid too

He’s the only I wanted before he signed.

Standout performer today.

Wish he wasn’t hitting our corners / dead balls. He should be the target for those balls. Very strong in the air. He won two defensive corners in the first half.

Seriously seems capable of doing it all on both sides of the ball, which is not at all what I expected in looking over his stats before he came

Don't put all your faith in stats. 27% of hot dog eating vegetarians could tell you that.

Assuming "hot dog" is a Brit euphemism, I'm not even sure what to do with that. I'll just wait for JD to chime in and the fun that then ensues

Yes, it's actually worth watching his running, and where he runs.

You'd think a key pass would lead to a goal or why is it key? .. Seven key passes and no goals from open play seems to be counter intuitive

A key pass that leads to a goal is an assist.

The definition of a key pass that doesn’t might be interesting.

Not necessarily, in fact not often. There's usually a middle man.. Great pass, lay off, goal. etc

So a key pass might or might not lead to a goal or assist.

If not, then what makes it key?

Exactly what I'm asking...
